The Business Academy

Where do you hold your training courses?

The majority of the Business Academy courses are held at our Bacup Centre, but we are happy to train at our Rawtenstall Centre, at your premises, if you have the facilities or anywhere else in the North West. Have a look at the page about Bespoke Training.

How much will it cost for bespoke training?

The actual price of training can vary, depending on the number of hours, location, number of delegates and topic, whether the course has to be customised or if any equipment is required, such as laptop, projector, etc. Some of the compliance courses are accredited so this incurs additional costs. Because there are so many variables, we always issue an individual quotation for all bespoke training. Give us a ring and explain what you want - it might not be as costly as you think!

What if I can't find what I want in the Course Directory?

If the course you are looking for is not included in the latest edition of the Course Directory please contact us with your requirements. We are continually developing new courses so we may be able to help.

Will I be able to get something to eat on a full day course?

Lunch and all refreshments are provided on full day courses so you don't need to worry. Our buffets are always praised on course evaluations!

What if I have a special dietary requirement?

Don't worry - just let us know when you book the course and we'll make sure the lunch will be suitable for you.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All materials are provided on Business Academy courses, except on occasions when a trainer might want you to bring something from home to help in one of the activities. You will be told if you need to bring anything.

Will I get a qualification?

Business Academy courses are not usually accredited, apart from some of the compliance courses. Take a look at the Qualifications page to find out which are. However, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

I'm on benefits - is there a fee waiver for Business Academy courses?

No. The Business Academy is a commercial training organisation so we have to charge for all courses. However, you may be eligible for fee waiver on learndirect courses - ask us for more details.
